Of course, if you see a need for any of the items on the following list,  it is best to place a request in the City’s Connect system.
You can also download the app:  “Inform Lancaster.”

Public Works Includes:

  • Pressure Washing 
  • Graffiti and Sticker Removal 
  • Illegal Dumps/Trash Cleanup
  • Empty Concrete Trash Cans – in addition to WM doing it as needed
  • Street Closures for Events/Emergencies
  • Paver and Concrete Repairs
  • Weed Abatement 
  • Homeless Cleanup 
  • Tree Trimming for Safety Purposes Only
  • Curb Painting
  • Bollards 
  • Light Pole Cleaning (as needed)
  • Electrical Outlets and breakers: (PARCS – Glen to assist as needed)
  • Street Sweeping – weekly on Thursday mornings and prior to special events
  • Curb Painting (shared with Transportation)
  • Assist with Event Parking Signage Installation

Transportation Services Includes:

  • Light Poles 
    • Not electrical outlets on the light poles
  • Sign Replacement/Repair
  • Curb Painting (shared with Public Works)
  • Refresh/Clean Street and Curb Striping 

Environmental Services Includes:

  • Blood Removal 
  • Sharps Removal
  • Big Belly Trash Cans
  • Concrete Trash Cans
    • Emptied by Waste Management, 2x a week
    • May need to look into increasing this during the summer months due to an increase in trash

Utilities Services Includes:

  • Feces Removal 
  • Cleaning of Storm Drains on BLVD (before certain events)
  • Sealing and Corking all Manholes Before Large Events 

PARCS Services Includes:

  • Tree trimming
  • Landscape Maintenance on BLVD and Side Streets
  • Banners
  • Speakers/MUZAK System
  • Event No Parking Signs – 48 hours before – PW to assist
  • Boeing Plaza Cleanup
    • Possibly use a contractor so it is done regularly

BLVD Association Services Includes:

  • Desert Haven 
    • Cleaning
